LLLL ART AGENCY

We are moving the soil, preparing the foundations of the LLLL ART agency in Norway. The positive scenario made us think this place is ready to be part of our lifes as artists. We like to use heavy machines at a night scenario. We spend hours looking and picturing the yellow robots moving tons of sand. City is a gigantic ready made.


In every new city the scenario is different. We are now finding partners to build with. To be part of a strong and visible art community is part of our plan.

El estudio de la vida cotidiana sería una empresa completamente ridícula, y estaría sobre todo condenada a no entender su objeto, si no se propusiera explícitamente transformarla.
La crítica de la vida cotidiana abarca también la conferencia, la exposición de determinadas consideraciones intelectuales ante un auditorio, como forma extremadamente banal de las relaciones humanas en un sector bastante amplio de la sociedad.
Los sociólogos, por ejemplo, tienen excesiva tendencia a apartar de la vida cotidiana y a arrojar a esferas separadas -que se dicen superiores- todo lo que les sucede a cada instante. El hábito en todas sus formas, empezando por el de manejar conceptos profesionales -producidos por la división del trabajo- enmascara así la realidad tras condiciones privilegiadas.

1. No texture. Texture is naturalistic or mechanical and is a vulgar quality, especially pigment texture or impasto. Palette knifing, canvasstabbing, paint scumbling and other action techniques are unintelligent and to be avoided. No accidents or automatism.

2. No brushwork or calligraphy. Handwriting, hand-working and hand-jerking are personal and in poor taste. No signature or trademarking. "Brushwork should be invisible." "One should never let the influence of evil demons gain control of the brush."

3. No sketching or drawing. Everything, where to begin and where to end, should be worked out in the mind beforehand. "In painting the idea should exist in the mind before the brush is taken up." No line or outline. "Madmén see outlines and therefore they draw them." A line is a figure, a "square is a face." No shading or streaking.

4. No forms. "The finest has no shape." No figure or fore- or background. No volume or mass, no cylinder, sphere or cone, or cube or boogie-woogie. No push or pull. "No shape or substance."

5. No design. "Design is everywhere."

Stan Brakhage is a painter. Clearly. Stan Brakhage, the filmmaker, is also many other things, poet , musician and philosopher , to mention only some of the definitions that normally appear in the literature on this giant of American culture . Among its many functions, its status as a painter or visual artist is the least mentioned and that is not surprising : his work is extremely complex and this complexity is one of its defining characteristics . While the components of poetry, music and philosophy may be evident and have been studied extensively , there are many other aspects, such as visual arts , which are not so obvious and end up lost in the study of his work. However, its role is very important. Brakhage 's own stance towards art was always , and almost necessarily , was difficult , as commented in an interview with Jerry Johnson published by The Austin Chronicle (Texas ) on September 15, 1997. Art, you know, is a difficult hobby , and that's the most beautiful thing you have. The viewer should strive as much as the artist to understand and unlock the mysteries and complexities of poetic cinema . Or the success of good prose. Understanding Tarkovsky or even Cassavetes is a complicated pleasure .
